Exciting new collaboration for our youth team

Waitakere United Inc is very pleased to announce that we will be joining forces with Western Springs AFC (WSAFC) to compete as one joint team in the NZF 2019 National Youth League.
This exciting partnership between Waitakere United Inc and WSAFC will help provide a pathway for our most promising youth players (U19). It will enable them to experience the highest level of competition for their age group within New Zealand’s premier youth competition. Players will also have the privilege to be coached at the highest level by WSAFC’s Chris Zoricich.
This is not only an exciting opportunity for our Youth Players but for the Club as a whole. The Youth team will be called Waitakere United and play in the Waitakere United colours, and WSAFC will be home grounds to the team for both training and competition matches.
Further benefits may accrue with opportunities for youth team players being exposed to the 2019/20 ISPS Handa Premiership, bringing more quality football and opportunities to Waitakere United and WSAFC players and members.
